Job Purpose: Our Terminal Management System (TMS), OpenTAS, supports the logistics and operations of Tank Terminal Operators. The Senior TMS Consultant will lead the successful delivery of OpenTAS projects, ensuring high standards of performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will manage complex projects, provide strategic direction, and mentor junior consultants.


Key Responsibilities:

· Lead in project teams in collecting, analyzing, reviewing, and documenting complex customer requirements.

· Provide expert-level support in mapping customer requirements against the OpenTAS product, recommending solutions and best practices.

· Develop functional and technical system specifications, ensuring alignment with customer business goals.

· Oversee and execute the setup and configuration of new locations using the OpenTAS Solution Design, ensuring all installations meet the highest quality standards.

· (Co-)Develop, implement and execute accurate test plans (FAT & UAT), coordinating with customer teams and ensuring best practices are followed.

· Provide expert guidance during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring successful project outcomes.

· Lead troubleshooting analysis and resolution of complex test incidents, providing expert advice and recommendations.

· Manage Go-live and Hyper-care activities, overseeing the transition to operational teams in both Implico and customer organizations.

· Serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing strategic consultation and ensuring long-term relationships.

· Onsite activities may require 25 – 50% travel, depending on the project phase.

Personal Skills:

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior team members.

· A deep understanding of business operations and the ability to provide valuable insights to clients.

· Senior collaboration, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

· Intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.


Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s/Master degree in IT, Information Systems, or Business Administration.

· 5+ years of experience in software implementation and consulting, ideally within the logistics, oil, gas, or related industries.

· Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.

· Strong command of both English and German (written and spoken).

· Advanced knowledge of software implementation methods, tools, and best practices.

· Ability to innovate and recommend improvements to internal processes and methodologies.
