Context of the Role:

You are part of a team developing high quality, observable and scalable Micro Services in NodeJS. As Senior you take over the responsibility of the quality of delivered artifacts. Teaching / Mentoring colleagues in the Node stack, including good software architecture, best practices and testing is also part of your role.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and its nuances, including asynchrones (promises) programming, event driven architecture and closures
• solid experience and expertise in developing scalable and high-performance applications.
• Proficient in developing server-side applications with e.g. Express.js
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services
• Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Good understanding of software development principles and best practices (Clean Code, KISS,)
• Proficient in working with TypeScript
• Professional handling of application including the creation of service documentation, API-Specs and LiveCycle management
• Experience in TDD patterns and automated testing (Jest)
• Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in NodeJs deployment
•  Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
